Holographic DVD - on sale 2006

Ya I've been seeing this around quiet a bit lately, but not alot of talk about it.

Truely I hope it does come out, but I also hope its not going to have a Huge premium on it over the other formats so it stays competitive. Now its up to weather Blu-Ray and this HoloDisk will be more effective/cheaper to use as a backup storage medium for the computer, because I know I'll want to get one eventually.

Yeah, I'm concerned that the size of the holodisc is slightly larger than standard CDs or DVDs. That's got to mean increased costs. :sad:

I paid $500 for my first DVD burner at 1x. These things are going to cost about 2,000 bux. Trust me...big price tag.
