eHello! This is my first WIP post here so be gentle :D
IŽve been pretty afraid to post anything here because almost everyone is so professional! I feel like a total newbie, haha.

I guess I must start somewhere..

This is mostly a sketch, IŽve laid all the basic colors in it and such. But I am certain there is something wrong with her anatomy!

(ItŽs my Christmas picture:D)

Well now that I am at it IŽll post another sketch..I have no idea about the anatomy of birds but I still like to draw them:shrug:

You have a good start with these sketches. You have a tendency to make the arms to short. Remember the elbow comes down around the waist. As for birds I can't help, I would look at lots of reference photos before I painted one. Keep going I see potential here.

Hi, the first one looks really nice, especially the colouring! I hate colouring on the computer so I reckon this looks like it'll turn out well  The second one looks a bit odd on the lower half cuz you haven't given proper mass to the hips (see attached lousy tablet attempt at correction). Unn, I am pretty unfamiliar with bird anatomy but you might want to try not making the bent wing look so floppy, wings have sorta the same construction as the human arm. Finish these, they look great~

Alright, thank you! That was really helpful :) IŽll post more WIPs soon, with corrections.

Continuing the coloring.. There is something in her face that bugs me but IŽll fix it later.

Woah another finn down here! Would never have believed it.

About your art. It is starting to look really sweet

I really like her head. thats the best part. Bring everything else up to standard.
Youre going to keep some of the outlines right?? I'll be commenting that in my mind.

Ok first of all.. her legs underneath that garment looks really flat. buff them up. That hiliting is being pushed to single corner so it looks like the legs are paper thin. Bring that hilite midway of thigh.. Both legs.

And oh yeah.. Why you asking for crits. Its gonna be just great! Trust me. Just get that pen moving:bounce:

oh few things about perspectives.. Redo most of the metal bars and think how they overlap and work from your current viewpoint.

Well THIS is the reason I am asking for crits:D

There are some mistakes in it wich I canŽt see myself and I just want the finished drawing to be as good as possible. Thanks for the suggestions, IŽll see what I can do for the errors..

And I am surely not the only finn around here :)

EDIT: umm altough I donŽt know what to do with the metal bars..Help?

this look great! about the metal bars, do you mean the shine on metal or the shape you want to make? for the shape you might want to look at play grounds or radio towers (those are fun to climb on) for metal shine, just remember that the contrast is what makes shine look like its on metal (you might want to get a ref for this)

great work so far!

Thank you!

I know how I am going to color them, but is the perspective OK?
