Wich type of connection is faster:

- USB

- Bluetooth

- Infrared


I was considering USB 1.1 and USB 2. Of course, USB 2 will be faster then 1.1, but will it be faster then the other two?

One thing I should mention, this type of post belongs in the Hardware (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=23) forum, but I'll answer it anyways. :)

USB2 would be fastest. The advantage of the other two is that they are wireless.

Ok, USB2. But, between USB 1.1 and the other two, wich is faster?


Between Bluetooth and Infrared, wich on these is the faster?

It's probably:
USB2 - IR - USB1 - BT

However it depends on a lot of factors - BT1 or BT2? BT2 is theoretically marginally faster than USB1.

IR can also run at pretty much any speed, depending on what hardware you have it'll likely either be FIR (4Mbps) or SIR (115kbps).

You should really be a bit more specific about it :)

By what I saw, Bluetooth would be faster then Infrared. I only donư know if it's BT1 or BT2.

Does anyone know wich BT does Dell Axim's V50 has?
