I was going to study MR
so I started with the Gnomon MR Fundamentals...

here is my problem
I set everything as the DVD was explaining the presets etc...
but when I try to get a render, MAYA crashes

DVD says if the reds for Diagnostic/diagnose BSP/depth is high the renderer will crash but I cant even render with Diagnose BSP set to debth or size ...

I really appreciate if someone can help

Maya was runing under windows 2003, maybe win 2003 has some problems to render with mental ray ... It works fine under XP
