What is currently the best file synchronizer program? Preferably one that is intuitive, easy to use, and powerful. I need to use it to keep certain folders on my hard drive up to date with my removable storage [for backup]. Thanks.

Sync Toy (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e0fc1154-c975-4814-9649-cce41af06eb7&displaylang=en) is what I'm using, it's very intuitive and works great for me. It's a Windows Power Toy.

Just tried SyncToy. Unfortunately, their "echo" sync mode has some bugs. Some files won't overwrite to target [not an issue with my system]. And extra files in target don't get deleted [when they're supposed to]. It's not accurate and reliable enough, yet.

I just tried Allway Sync and didn't like it. http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/images/smilies/wvsore.gif The interface is bad and lacks file control. But thanks anyways.

I've been using FileSync 2.18 [ www.fileware.com (http://www.fileware.com/) ], and so sar it's still the best, it seems--at least for my backup routines.

ah at last! I've been looking for a decent syncing app for ages. SyncToy is working a treat over here!

Cheers
