CGTalk - Moving into 2D

Thought I'd post this; my first ever digital painting. I just got Painter, but having tried it, prefer Photoshop, which I've had for years, but never used. Basically, I've been playing around with 3D packages for years, but having seen some of the jaw-dropping stuff on here, realised that I should have been working in 2D all along. Anyway, just got a Wacom pad and tried it out on the scene out of my studio window (rain storm just gone by); thought I'd post it, warts n'all.

Hey, Im sorta in the same position, Those clouds ur drew were pretty nice for ur first digital painting. Well if u have time come take a look and my current WIP painting. Good Job Keep up the good work!
