View Full Version : Teddy's been a JERK!!!
ivanisavich 11-26-2005, 08:42 AM Hey everyone,
This is my latest character/animation :D
The character was made for a small challenge we're having over at the Simplycg (http://www.simplycg.net/) forums. It is based on some concepts by Mark Behm (http://www.markbehm.com/).
The animation you see here was made today. It was rendered using 3dsmax Scanline, and it takes about 30 seconds per frame to render out.
Hope you enjoy! Also...I'm planning to do a series of short animations with this character because he's a lot of fun to work with...so stay tuned for more soon! Hopefully I'll have another one up by Sunday :)

By the way, the sound clip is Mcaulay Culkin from the movie "Home Alone" :).
You can visit the threads where I posted the progress of the creation of the character from start to finish here:

Bro, I love it!
It shows you really listened to the sound clip and the animation and acting fits! I loved it! thats all I can say.
The character himself is awesome and I can believe what u wrote regarding animating him, It does look like a major fun to handle with.

Hey Adam,
No worries man....once the current rigging session ends, the animation session that will follow will be open to everyone (even if you haven't participated in the rest of the competition). So you can definitely enter!

Like always, it rocks...
You are one of those people that can deliver a "full" animation... Modeling, animating, lighting, rendering and sfx... It all comes together! Well done!
PS, Teddy looks like a jerk too :+

Nice animation. I wonder if you could have sold the slamming of the door more by having some slight movement of the teddy bears by the force of the wind after the door closed.
Good stuff nonetheless!
