i like the model my only crits would be the weels ... they make it look less realistic , and as for your lighting you should use mental ray or vray to get better results with GI, and place it in a HDRI scene :D with those changes it would look awesome

The model looks somewhat basic, however the proportions look good and the modeling is clean! :applause: 3DS MAx 6 ships with Mental Ray, so deffiently check that out. Good luck!

Hi Bro! Looks good for starting, but if you want to make a realistic formula 1 car, you could refine your modell. The shape is far from perfect, and too many angular edges. For the texturing part. The decals seems odd, because you didn't used the official logos and labels. Try google picture search, and you will find many of them in high rez. So, keep on working, because it's worth the price!

is this a work in progress, i'm looking forward for a better one, specular lights on the car's surface and the wheels are not realistic as well.

the proportion looks good, but the modelling, i think you should refine it more.

i'm also a novice, i'm often here at this forum grabbing tips and crits.

btw, can i see some wires.
