Hi, Its me again !
I posted a question about how Can i get professional quality colors using
Edius 3.5 and Fusion 5 for complex compositing and keying knowing i use only DV tpaes throug IEEE(idont have any other kind of recorders/players) But now it got even harder and more complex !!
Two directors i know asked me to do some realy serious and complex Visual Fx (including complex compositing for both live and 3d CG, Keying ,object removal,color correction,....) plus editing !
Both of them use 35 mm camera one is shooting a music video clip and the other is MAKING A MOVIE !! so i dont need to speak about the quality both of them want. now i have more then one question :
first what are the standard steps in all big professional post-production houses to make the mterial each of them has ready for the work (digitiz) ? and can i make the telecine in other post-production house and then transfer the material to my system for editing and compositing&visula Fx ? if so waht kind of storage media will be used ?
how can i get this material ? is going to be stored on hard drive or RAID ?
and the quality can do the job using my systm and have the professional (i have 5 dual and single processor p4 xion workstations and fusion5 ,edius 3.5 ,monet 1.5,mokey 3,3ds max 8)and have the professional quality they want ?
is the DV recorder i have going to be used at any stage ? and when & how ?
I know, too many questions i'm sorry !!but i need DETAILED answers ASAP
and i dont know where else to ask !
