Hi people!

I want to make my Modeling Reel video in format .mov in resolution 640x480, so, I need to render in resolution larger than it?
So what resolution I will render my characters? In 1024px large?1500px large? Or more....?
What's your opinion to not to lose resolution in video?

Thanks and sorry my English!

Not sure I completely understand you but… if you making a video at 640x480 then render out to the same size. There is no quality gain by rendering your stuff out larger then you need it too be.

Yes! You understand me! Sorry my english!

So, how much I should make my render to obtain a best quality in video composit?
For exemplo, if I need a video with 640x480px, my render shoulfd be 1024x780?Is correctly?

Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry I don't think this is much help but I think I know what you're trying to do... and I hope this helps explain it to others reading the forum.

If you render out at 1024x? and create a project in Premier at 1024x? and you are exporting to 640x480 if it will loose less quality when creating the 640x480. But overall I don't think you will gain enough quality to increase your render time and overall work flow. What matters most is the compression that you use. Perhaps there is someone out there that reads this that may be able to answer whether or not you would gain enough quality rendering out at 1024x? and could recommend an ideal video compressor to use.

Sorry people! I don't explain correctly!Heheheh!

Well, I want use this render in 1024px, in a software After Effects for example!
My question is in a software, ok?Well, If I rendering in resolution 1024px to use in a workarea 640x480px, and if I want apply some closes in some parts os my rendering, is a good idea tu use a render the biggest than my workarea in a After Effects, for example?

Sorry people my English!

Thanks
