My friend has a studio he is starting in canada...he has no clue on what he needs to do to get me a work permit. anyone ever had to do this? he needs me up there as soon as possible, i went to the customs border yesterday, they said i couldn't go without my work permit. my friend and i's plan was to pay me underthe table until i could get a working permit or something, but customs saw that i was going to "help" my friend with his business and assumed i was going to be paid for it...so...neither of us have any idea how to start. or should i just fly to canada and sneak in! seriously though, anyone have some advice for us to get started?
