Anyways, some info as to where I am. I'm using Maya 7 and I'm trying to focus getting the F-15's fuselage correctly modeled. Unfortunately, the topology is just a mess and I'm not really sure how to go about breaking things up for a nice transition into Sub-D Surfaces. Essentially, while I can get the form down to a degree, I wind up with tris and N-Gons and it can be a pain to clean all that up (hence why my geometry seems like a mess). The goal is to try and keep everything in quads if possible and turn this into a well-detailed hig resolution model that looks accurate.

Also, I never really had much instruction in the ways of mechanical modeling. For some reason, all the classes focused on organics or low-poly game models and therefore, I'm really lost when it comes to getting proper mechanical detailing and workflow for this stuff and subdivision surfaces are still kind of new to me (though I do understand things like how to get nice beveled edges).

EDIT

Please Disregard this, I'm just too tired right now and posted in the wrong forum.
