Hi folks...

Here`s my WIP self-portrait. I am curious what you think about the modell

It`s not finished, the perspective distortion is not reflected on the model so far.

as a model its fantastic - but u probly already know that. As a self portrait its not that great. I was trying hard to spot the similarities between the two and I found it quite hard. The problem areas seem to be the chin, lower lip and ear-lobe.

Good work m8

Slightly a shame that the shaded head and the photo aren't from the same angle as it makes assessing the ear for example very difficult. As far as I can see the most problematic areas are above and below the lips. The lips need raisng some and the undercurl on the lower lips is far too pronounced. The chin itself doesn't appear wide enough and the cleft doesn't seem to be there. Above the top of the nose needs to indent slightly too.
Sorry if that comes over bad.. it's the way I think.. as eli says. as a model, it's pretty much there, and it's well constructed. A small amount of tweaking and a bit of texturing and I think you'll be getting very close. Nice :)

The nose doesnt look like yours... You have a much thicker nose then that you depicted in the CG work... Great modeling btw

Thanks everybody, I`m gonna take care of these. I hope I`m gonna get time to correct all, but suddenly I`ve got few characters to do.
So few weeks later I`m gonna update it.

Thanks again!
