One way is to render as bitmap all phonems targets and replace with them the default fonem images in Magpie
as far as i know, magpie just uses pictures ....
no 3d there .... its all about timing in magpie ...
great tool !

:D I found it - right click on the expression, associate a 3d file (dxf, lwo or obj) to the expression. In window editor open the 3d preview panel - then when you hit play it creates a preview and animates your shapes as blends - too cool - crashes tho'

No - this isn't a 2d render - it is actual opengl render window that creates blends between your expressions.
Because you can set a key to go from one expression to another over a number of frames - the 2d images just pops from one to the other at the change over point. The 3d window shows you how the blends will actually look once you apply it to your blendshapes.
