fR2 has not been very stable for me or STRAT, among others--so maybe I don't want to install that update just yet. Thanks for the warning!

Yes better wait for a patch from us. The 9.52 update brings in many changes i nthe SDK that need to be considered by our implementation.

The diffiuculty we had initially was that we could test this build in advance but we were not allowed to talk about this build until ist was shipping. So we could not implement the fixes for 9.52 because when we shipped no one would have had this build from MAXON.

So much about delays of software :D

Strange, I've been using fR-2 with 9.52 and it's been pretty stable. Only real problem has come with MTD, and I think that was an OOM issue.

Dang! I was going to install both tomorrow! Might go with Fr2 and hold on the 9.52 update until I can get my hands on the Cebas patch, then both.

The only crashes I have had have been. IP cramp related.
9.52 seems solid enough.

Anyone have a specific test file that they could post that seems to cause crashes with fr+v9.52? So far I have been just doing real simple renders in fr and no crashes yet. I'm just curious.
