I'm stuck and I'm wondering if anyone can offer their assistance.

I'm looking for a Fractal Flame PS plug-in for Mac, and needs to be compatible with OSX. I haven't had any luck finding a good one that does specifically Fractal Flames. ...Hell, I'd be happy with a stand alone app that generates them. It can be freeware, shareware, or pay - I'm not picky. :D

Thanks.

You should be able to produce fractal flame images in The Gimp.

Going to check out MacGimp myself, but...

What will do it for sure is the Corel KPT Collection - it contains a plug-in called FraxFlame II. The KPT Collection is of course what became of the famous Kai's Power Tools, and Corel did update them for OS X, costs $99 and contains several other effects too. I hope you have a fast machine though - at print rez some of these can take a looong time to render.

cheers,

Marc Oliver

Excellent. Thanks guys. Looks like KPT Collection is the way I'm going.
