Well as it is kind of exaggerated and cartooney, the only critique that i have is that everything happens on an exact beat, and there is no follow through when he stops moving his limbs.

I would suggest a little more sense of mass to the arm movement by having the hands flex as he stops his arm, unless he is supposed to be rigidly holding his wrists still (AKA military or something) but it seems like a happy go lucky kind of walk like he just won the lottery...

The other thing is to break up the beats to transmit up from his feet so the feet would hit, a couple of frames later the body would hit its beat, a couple later the hands and head. Make it look like it flows up his body rather than everything EXACTLY at the same time. Now this may be intentional, but if it is I’m not a fan of the effect.

Also take a look at my walk animation (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=295499), critiques are always welcome :)

Thanks a bunch Ebola0001! That's the kind of feedback i am looking for, i can see what you're talking about, the beats and all, thanks again, i will work on that. I downloaded your file but for some reason i can't play it here, got a quicktime of it?

Thanks sgbox for that observation, i did that on purpose but still unsure about it, as i am right now working on some fixes i will experiment in making him move more, making his stride a bit longer and see how that works, thanks again for the feedback and keep'em coming! :)

Ok, i got another version of the walk, incorporated things that Ebola001 and sgbox had talked about, well, basically only you guys said anything about the animation HAHA...Anyway, i think it looks way better than my first version but as always, anything can be improved, let me know what else looks weird and let me tell ya, animation is hard but fun! :)

Looks much better now, kinda got a grove on doesn't he ;P

can't really spot anything else right now without more info on what he is gonna / supposed to be, kinda dictates what kinda feel he should have, but as it is it looks good
