View Full Version : Duplicating meshes

To copy a mesh one holds down the Shift key and drag or click with the mouse. Simple enough. But how can I drag the new mesh away X amount (along one od the axis)? I know I can track the distance dragged, but this obviously does not snap to integer values. The grid snap function, in this case, does not help me as the grid setup would have to be too fine to use. Any ideas?

Another question is that if I select multiple meshes, then I cannot use the axis position fields (whatever it is called centre-bottom of screen) to accurately position the selection. Of course a single selection is fine.

I get the feeling I am missing something here... :D

Max 5.

Many thanks,
Bernard

HI!
I think you can use either the Spacing tool or the Array, they are pretty accurate. Hope this helps :)
