View Full Version : quicktime bad-media output in AfterEffects

Hi, I am getting bad media quicktime movies when rendering out from png sequence in after effects 6.5. I keep the png sequences in a server and make movies in a local windows workstation (output in the same local machine).Is it due to network rendering or any other cause?

Nope, propably your Quicktime render settings.

Thanx Jonas.But the problem is ridiculous.In the same comp,one time its rendering fine and the other time its coming up with that bad media file.But if I render it in Mac, the problem never happens.I believe the problem with Windows only as the Quicktime is designed for Mac. Its fine now.Thanx for ur help once again.

Sounds veeeeery weird. I've never had problems with rendering Quicktime from After Effects, other than that the sounds seems to get better if you compress it in Quicktime Pro.
