hi.. i have this anoying problem with an apartment scene...
i started importing some lines from autocad so i would save some time.. y extruded those lines into walls... then ligted the scene.. and boom.. there it goes.. the lights ¨pass¨ beneath the walls and over the walls ... AND THEY ARE LOCATED CORRECTLY.. some walls seem floating over the floor. LETS SAY THAT THE LIGHTS SEEM TO FILTRATE TROUGH A NON EXISTING GAP BETWEEN THEM.
then i restarted THE WHOLE SCENE and didnt use the IMPORTED autocad lines.. i thought that was it.. didnt work... the ligts are standard.. IVE TRIED RAYTRACE, SHADOW MAP, AND DONT WANNA USE AREA SHADOWS BECAUSE IT TAKES A WHILE FOR MY PC.. im no noobie.. but since i learned 3dmax by myself i guess i lack some basic knowledge.. ... if anyone can help.. my mail is
