I recently saw this beauty on Top Gear and decided to make model of it. I have been working on since yesterday.
Atm it's at 2k tris. There is alot of work to be done still but i relly want to show what i've made so far. Some stuff might not be 100% accurate since the blueprint i'm using is a bit out of sync.
I'm very band at rendering so the renders are not the best but i hope it's enough, I will try to get a crisper picture on my next renders.
looks pretty good start to me, im working with the same car, low poly version from it allso.
can we see the wire ?

The shape you have started is perfect. I myself have never modeled a car for a game but it looks to me like you have too many polys. I do know that in a game a car is mostly seen from the back. I would take out some of the polys from the front and move them to the back where the player will actually see them. Great start, hope to see it further along.

Yup, there will be optimisation done. But the poly count isn't that bad. Many newer racing games have a poly count at about 10-20k depending on what system they are on etc. From what i've heard anyway.

Great start on this model man, you got the shillouette goin on pretty well. Adam is right though, that you can stand to lose quite a bit from the front end, such as the lines around the front by the grill, and the lines of the hood (unless you intend on the hood bein able to be opened, in which case have at it :P) but overall it's a really nice start.
one critism, the front of the car is too straight, in real one, it is much rounder..
