The first NewTek Video ToasterŽ contest is underway this month, "The NewTek Nationwide Commercial Challenge." This inaugural Video Toaster competition is seeking broadcast-quality, 30-second commercials for Video Toaster [2]. Entrants are to create their best commercial using any combination of ToasterEdit(TM), Aura Video Paint(TM) and LightWaveŽ.
The best commercial entered will be aired to a nationwide audience during MuscleSport USA, appearing on the Fox Sports Network. MuscleSport USA, now in its 16th season, is the longest-running bodybuilding, fitness and figure show in the United States. In addition to national airplay, the winner will receive an exclusive RS-8 Switcher Control Module hand-made and autographed by NewTek Founder and Chairman Tim Jenison. First and Second runner-up entries will be posted online at the NewTek website.
"This contest is an incredible opportunity for creative and talented producers looking for a showcase," said Paul Goldberg, producer, director, and editor of MuscleSport USA. "Time to flex your muscles and show the world what you can do, where money is no object and talent reigns supreme. Give the air waves a taste of fresh ideas done 'your way'! No client looking over your shoulder, and the greatest tools in the world to spin your magic - Video ToasterŽ [2], LightWaveŽ and Aura(TM)."
