MellowFellon 11-22-2005, 11:44 AM Hi just a shot in the dark here... What is the going rate for moddeling a character? Which will be used for renders and pics in a magazine.
Greetings MF

Hi,
In London a freelance 3D artist, a generalist one, is on between 80£ and 250£ a day, depending on skills, experience and job required.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Monica:)

Thanks, and yes it does much!
Texturing would be to a minimum (shirt and maybe hair) the rest would be only polygon and procedurals.
Wow your work is great! Nice style esp the cartoon "washed effect"
Thanks

Yes I do, but I am still working on it. I could let U know when I'm done;
I don’t have any characters really. 1 caveman without hair. :) The rest is mostly architectural and biomedical illustrations.
Do you freelance or are you working for some big company in Europe?
Take care, :cool:
