BoBo the seal created a cute little Imp SDK a while back, and my good friend KillingPeople picked it up recently, dusted it off, and started texturing it. Little did he know it would create a cascade of imitators all anxious to put a skin on the little guy. I got a zany idea for a skin and gave a half hearted start, but a few friends prodded me into finishing it. That and I hate leaving things half done. While Mr. Bondage Imp might be scary at first glance, he's just a smidge misunderstood.

Nice use of colors and shading, especially on the face and all the little color variations on the elbows, back of the feet, etc. Though personally I'm not a big fan of the bright blue and green combo... it works quite well for this little character, probably because of the addition of the other color values.
Only thing I would say is that his hair/horns are bleeding together, I can't relly tell the difference or if there is supposed to be a difference. And maybe have the star upside down for that extra evil effect .

Very nice work!
I agree with Serul's comment though I think that those arent supposed to be horns, but just hair, right? If im wrong, then it's definately as Serul said.
Also, while I definately think that gameart lacks male genitalia and most people tend to avoid that area completely, I think that the clothed version should have something over it, just because it wouldn't make sense that alot of the rest of the body is covered. Unless he's an exhibitionist imp. Then it all makes sense.
Edit: Sorry, i didnt realize you didn't model him.

I had fun texturing this little dude a while back. I like the fact you went a totally different approach than mine, good twist with the "hair" too! :D
