View Full Version : Asian Girl (Nudity)
lucifernicus 11-21-2005, 11:20 AM Hello all,
This is my first ever post, so i want it to be memorable and decided to start a thread by posting my work.
I love to model female characters as i was inspired by most female modelers here at cgtalk.
I just want to share with you guys what i'm doing for months during my spare time since i was too busy at work..
This asian girl will be dressed later after i figure out my design... so it will stay nude for now. :)
Just had some fun texturing the head. Feel free to comment and suggest for i will be more glad if you do so. Thanx!! :)

Looks really good dude. However, she looks like a asian-white mix though :) You nailed the brow, or lack there of, which most people miss when modeling asians. However the eyes look too round. Are you using a ref? Can you post it?

Thanks for the comments guys :), but however, i have to say that i don't have reference in this model... I just did what i think would look her great in my perspective. Maybe i would consider looking on her eyes since you mentioned it being too round...but will you explain it to me furthur how round they really are..coz i don't get it honestly... Thanx :)

hmmm, after googling "asian girl" i might be wrong about that. but your model isn't an obvious asian face i guess. i can't put my finger on it. Here is a good "obvious" asian face. maybe it's the hair? not tto sure.

Perhaps that is true, but she certainly looks asian(filipino) to me. Some filipinos tend to have less asiatic features, and that's why the misconception. In this account, i think the eyes look perfecty fine. Perhaps you could do a search for filipino girl in google to see what i mean, but i doubt you'd find any landmark of what they look like since there is so much variety in their features alone.

It looks as though your model is coming along really well.
I especially love the little imperfections on her skin. It deviates
from the normal "flawless" look. I have no doubt that she
will look exceptionally great once she's been completed.
PS. Super clean wires are a plus. You set a perfect example
for the aspiring modelers.

Cool model. Looks near perfect really. I do suggest ALWAYS using reference photos though. Especially if you are going for realism.

Well, thanx people.
Jinian is right... well, i don't really go for japanese or chinese types of asian... instead i want her to look like an asian more like a filipina. I'll post any updates when i get my hands on her again so you could see.
