Hi, I seem to be having a problem, ive made (half) a person, but when i come to put half the body next to its copied friend it just isnt working, i try and weld, with little success, and as soon as it is mesh smoothed i get a hideous gulley between the two!
I heard of a plugin once that allowed the copied half to be welded straight away, but i cant see it, perhaps you can give me some advice where i am going wrong! cheers...mark

Delete all polys between the halfs.

Hi Mark,

You can weld the seam between 2 halves of any model in 1 step with Orionflame (http://www.orionflame.com)'s Weld Half feature.

...or just use the symmetry modifier :buttrock:

The way I do it is delete all the polygons between the two faces and then attach them to one another. Then select the entire column of vertecies and wield them together. This should get rid of those nasty blimps.
