The building is great. The way it looks like there's shiney paint that has been rubbed of in some places on the frame of the door is fancastis. Also the stairs and the cubes are fantastic. The little statues are good. Basically the one on the left is fantastic and the one on the right's ok.
I'm not sure why the dude looks so out of place. I think it's partly because the red light from his sword doesn't seem to hit anything. Is seems like is shold be on the door frame, the pant led, the floor. you know...
Overall I think there's just too much contrast on him. his chest is just too shiney. I think it should be darker... more like his abdomen.
no need for highlights on the collar...
hair should be all black with a fewer streaks...
the sign above his head should have some chinese characters on it...
That's all I can think of.
by the way... The roof is fantastic.

I make the whole picture focus on the guarder, and the guarder behide the gate was illuminated by the moonlight(moon in cloud), thats why his chest shiney and face clear.
Him going to say "come in and dead here". Something like a game, the background sky "dawn" means survival, have to kill boss and get pass, and the gate stone lion tell people thats a haunted house, very unpropitious.
I shun bloody environment and keep the picture cleanly except the blood pool, huh....look out! the guarder is a sanguinary monster! m(-o-)m
Great job...i like the sword..
