View Full Version : help needed for an animation idea

Hi guys,
I need to create a short visual effects for my school. I ran out of ideas so I was wondering if you guys can help. ok, what I want is this,
a small animation that has a simple storyline (as long as it fits a beginnning, climax, ending) and has visual effects integrated with live action footage. Min is 1 min, max is 10, but since I will be doing alone, I dont want to make it too long.

A quick look in my area of strength: two commercials, suzuki (http://visualrebels.us/2isted/suzuki.avi%20) and sustagen (http://visualrebels.us/2isted/sustagen.avi) Where I was involved in modelling, rotoscoping, camera tracking, and lighting in most cases.

But I am willing to try new things as well. But, I just dont have a story.

one project I wanted to do on my MA but never got the chance

was about a drunkard making mistakes and not noticing them
such as drinking from the wrong vessel or lighting th wrong end of his cigarette
I chose ti cos it had potential for visual character comedy in conjuntion with visual effects such as fire liquid, smoke, dynamics (breaking chair) and cloth
(allot of work) what do you reckon?
