I drove on the road for the first time in my life. Nobody died, so it must've gone pretty well =p.

I visited my friends in Vancouver, and my brother. I also saw my friend Josh for the first time in months upon months, and prior to those months, we spent a lot of time doing next to nothing together. Good times! There's no action in this scene, it was taken right when we got in to the place. I'm the guy on the left. That night ended with Dance dance revolution, and tons of drunk. haha, what a game. Good weekend.

Now that Aeon Flux and Tool are done, I'm taking this weekend off.... well...sort of. I finished re-compiling all of MR shaders into Maya 7 so that we can start using that on the next film beginning on Monday. I also got bored and checked out some Lamborghinis while crusing through Beverly Hills. Dam, those are tiny little cars made for very small people. Other than that, I'm going to be spending time with the little dude.

I reformatted my computer, would show a screen shot but blank Windows XP isn't very exciting. I slept—a lot—now that school is finally on a bit of a break and went and saw Harry Potter. I'd mark that down as a pretty excellent weekend, though nothing picture or video worthy. Might do some texture hunting tomorrow, in which case I'll post a few up.

On Friday I graduated! I managed not to make a prat of myself and fall over or anything like that, and my mortar board didn't fall off either; so it was a good day! On Saturday, as usual, I did a fair bit of music playing - helping out at the local music school, as there's a concert on Monday. Also, the DVD box set of the new Doctor Who arrived... and it's not even out until Monday(!), so I watched a few episodes of that. Today I'm cooking lunch for the family and taking it easy!

Congrats. A mate and I wandered over to 'Toys R Us' yesterday and he pondered over how many Doctor Who toys he should buy.

Then we duelled remote control daleks, and pratted about with plastic lightsabres and rubber masks of Luke and Vader.

Somebody should build an animation studio inside a 'Toys R Us'. It would be the greatness...

Today: Working.

searched for a house, found one, now have to figure out how to "buy" it.

it's for sale by owner and we don't have a realtor [and would like not to have one]. i do want to get a attorney to look over the paperwork first, but if anyone has experience buying a house without a realtor, please PM me. thanks.

This weekend the family has grown. I adopted a lonely cat that I found on the street.
Seems a domestic cat that has been abandoned or maybe he left home because of something. Male, about 5 moths old

Went to Zero Hour (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/zerohour/default.htm) for the XBOX360. I don't remember my neck ever hurting as much as it does now from sitting in those bean bags and staring up at the HD tvs all night. Was a pretty cool event, my girlfriend and I got to ask some questions to 'Cliffy B.' about Gears of War (http://www.gearsofwar.com/) (probably my favorite game at the event, even tho it wont be out for ANOTHER YEAR!). All I could think of when watching the demo's was how everything looked normal mapped...EVERYTHING!...and he confirmed that they have been using alot of Zbrush.

One of the main reasons why my girlfriend and I wanted to go to the event is we heard about a Gears of War art book being given out... but somehow Microsoft 'lost' them!!! So we were upset about that (if anyone knows about how I could get one, please let me know!)

My other favorite of the show was a game called Dead Rising (http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1187/Dead-Rising/p1/). Freakin awesome. However, it's not yet available for the 360 yet, or else I would of bought one on the spot!

I rocked out at the Queens of the Stone Age, Autolux and Nine Inch Nails concert in Oakland this past Saturday night. The lighting display by Nine Inch Nails was a mindblower same as the sound, since I was still feeling the defness the following day.
