View Full Version : Animation: Pest Control Preview

I'm almost done with a short film I've been working on for about a year and a half. I thought it would be fun to edit together a preview. It wasn't that fun, but here it is. :) It's only in Divx for now, the newest one, version 5.0.2 I think. I couldn't figure out how to make an mpeg and I can't get quicktime working :thumbsdow but I'll try again.

I'd apreciate any critiques. Here's the link...

It's around 7 megs and 40 seconds long. The full movie is only about 4 and 1/2 minutes.

Here's a couple stills if you are nervous about a 7 meg download.

Has anyone downloaded this? I'm wondering if the download and file work. I always post stuff that people can't see for some reason and I don't realize it.

i really dig the way he pulls himself up the stairs. nice, believeable motion. shot at the top of the stairs where you pull back from the door is really nicely compsed too.

gonna have to remember to d/l this when i get back to my computer! If it's half as cool as those claymation movies you did way back in the day, it'll be awesome I'm sure!:)

That was well worth the download. Very creepy. I especially liked the movement of the centipede guy. How long are you planning on the final film being?

Thanks. The film is pretty much done, and it's only 4 and a half minutes  I'm still working on the sound, and the guy doing the music is just about done too. I've still got 1 shot to finish and render, and 1 to fix up, but that's it :)
Thanks for looking.
