CGTalk - Biped.dlc missing max problem

View Full Version : Biped.dlc missing max problem

I just got unfinished max file from someone, but I am not able to open it. The pop-up says:

Missing Dlls:

FileName: SceneEffectLoader.dlu Class: Scene Effect Loader SuperClass: 0x9003
FileName: biped.dlc Class: SharedMotionFlows Super Class:0x9003
FileName: biped.dlc Class: Reservoir

and etc.

Does anyone know what to do?

Looks a lot like the error I got when I tried to open a Max8 file (with a biped in it) with Max7.. I knew it wouldn't work, but I figured I would try anywase. If you are using an older version then your friend, It's gonna be tricky to get it into your version. I don't think its completly impossible (actually, I do, but I've seen threads that seem to suggest otherwise) but it sure isn't easy. If you are using the same version, scan your max directory for those files, and if they aren't there, reinstall max. Thats about all I can think of though
