me again, the über newbie again :D got so much to ask, but I can't ask it all, want to discover some myself. But if I don't ask, I might never know :)

Well after reading in the documentations in Maya I tried to make a raytraced object like this one,
http://www.secondreality.ch/tutorials/materials/metals/metalsteel.html

That is done with Max, I want to get a similar raytrace effect, so how do I do?
Since I come from Max I think in Max terms, and I think I need to re-think abit because Maya works way different at some areas.

So please help me

This raytrace effect you have to do with 2 cameras (i believe) on the aliaswavefront website there is a tutorial about it. That will help.

Hmm, I didn't find any tutorial on their site regarding it.

What would I need 2 cameras for? i can only look through them one at a time.

Is there some other site with this kind of tutorial?
