View Full Version : Blend Shapes & Mirroring for Asymmetrical Models

I have modeled a character's face and made it asymmetrical. I have started to make the blend shapes for facial animation. What I want to do ideally is to just work on half the face¡¯s expression while having the other half mirrored then merging the 2 halves and adding this model a blend shape.

The problem is when I try this blend shape the original model will move into the position of the blend shape or half of the face (the half I mirrored) will end up all screwed like a porcupine.

Does this mean I will have try to match up the two halves by eye? Is there a script that can help me?
