im curious as to how you achieved such an organic and realistic looking tree (on the right) and mix of vegetation. could you please share some technique with those of us who lack it :-D

thanks and congrats

hi all,
first sorry for my bad english
for the realistic tree on the right that is a modeling on 3dsmax from a cylinder
and after i have to apply a modifiers vray displacementMod,
then i paint my render on photoshop to give the vegetal aspect.
the background is a matte painting and also the sky.
for the first plan it is just 3D render paint on photoshop for matching with the background.

Wow, this is fantastic. I like the whole composition, the lighting and especially the nature. The mapping and texturing of the trees are awesome. Maybe the fern-like leafs on the top left could have some more variety.

Do you have got some wireframes for us?

Great work.

Bye, Nico

Well done Quentin. You have a great eye for composition. The foliage invites you into the picture and the bent, arrowed tree leads your eye to the structure engrossed by mist. Great stuff!
