Hi,

I have been trying to model a head in maya for sometime now. Some parts, i.e. the eye work out fine but i have trouble with the other parts.

I know there are tons of tuts out there , i have tried some of them but with not much success.

Can anyone recommend a good, step by step head modelling tut that they have successfully completed?

Thanks

This is by far the best poly head modelling tut I've ever seen.

His method isn't exactly what I use when I model a head, but it will give you a great understanding of the structure of the head, and how to place your geometry.

Can't vouch for it using Maya's modeling work flow, but is a brilliant flow for XSI.
