I would put some sort of gentle bend in the tail, at the moment it's pretty rigid.

Ya the tail is going to be bent, I just modeled it that way for easy rigging, once rigged it will be bent and look a lot better.
Heres the latest for texture update, finished unwraping the head.
Any crits and suggestions is appreciated

The texture looks a bit flat to me, are you normalmapping it if so should look fine, if your not then more add more shadows and highlights maybe alpha maps on the wings would look great otherwise great job so far.

i agree with tintin, the texture needs more detail, especially in the wings. the model itself, however, is very cool and very well done.

Its not gonna be normal mapped cuz frankly I dont know how ;)

I think i'm pretty close to being done with this one, added a bump and spec map to it and lit it, what do you guys/gals think? Please crit so I can get this thing perfect, thanks

Wow that looks a lot better, the bump map adds a whole lot more depth, your texture is perfect for normalmaps, the only crit, I would add slight tearing on the wings near the end where its soft and fragile. Maybe more detail on the bumpmap, go through books on dragons and flying beasts or google some.

Thanks for the comments guys, heres the latest update, put a quick rig in him to get him posed the way I wanted and added a stand for him, its gonna be rocks when its painted, whatcha people think?????
