This is a vacuumcleaner from siemens and its in motion..
The most difficult part of this image was the lighting of the scene and the shape of the tube. Because of a limitation of 3dsmax for the Helix Spline (only 100 rounds) i decided to model it with the help of the align function and with torus rings.
The Body was modeled in Rhino.
The hole scene was rendered on a 21 Ghz Network and it took over 4 hours for the resolution of 4000x3000px
