View Full Version : Tiff 16 bits with alpha stored
Saturn 11-15-2005, 11:05 AM Hi everyone.
I got a tiny problem. I would like to render in Max in Tiff 16 bits but with the alpha stored in.
Actually i can render in 16 bits but the alpha isn't stored at all.
Is there any way to do that ? a plugin maybe ?

hi saturn,
as you state you are only looking for a tiff output, 8bit tiffs can do the job, but I asssume thats not a big help, right?
for now I can not help, but just out of curiosity, can you tell why you need a 16bit tiff?
*edit* I just saw that in Max8 it's possible to save a 16bit tiff with alpha channel, just check under the Tiff Setup Window --> "Store Alpha Channel"
