Hiya all,

I'm in my second year at Hull uni in England studying for a degree in Animation. Our current project is to create a 20 second video to a piece of music. I've always had a problem with calling work "finished", so I thought i'd post it on here! Some areas look a bit shabby due to the heavy compression, sorry about that.

Thoughts and impressions appreciated!

Kind regards,

Filesize is 12mb, Divx codec.

I hope it's ok to use savefile.com? It has some adverts but nothing too bad. Just give me a shout if it is and i'll try to find another site to host the file!

Mr Roy

Good work, it has a nice pacing and minimalist feel about it.

To be picky, as a music video, it possibly needs a little more entertainment in there to hold the audience's attention longer. They will quickly tire of the run. The character also needs a goal/ purpose and this needs to be set up clearly for the audience. Also the character is a generic one, so your own unique character would have been better perhaps.

But for the purposes of the assignment, the amount of work you have put in is just about right. Dont forget the unit is about art direction, the attention will be on your camera work/art direction, pacing etc anyway. If you want me to be picky about your animation, make sure you have a weight shift onto the contact leg to sell the feeling of weight/balance. Its looking pretty good though, and I especially like the lean back to slow down.
