Hey there everyone,
Count me in on this one :)
Usual sob story here: been a member for some time but not posted any work of this nature... this challenge has proved to be quite inspirational though, so here goes nothing =)
Rough storyboards (sorry for size):

Previs shot:

Notes on the previs shot:
Rough ufo modelled (not textured: although some overlays were added for effect and mood), foreground elements filmed day for night annnd thats about all I can think of right now. Oh, and the previs shot is just representitive of the main shot - money shot if you will - and is all quite rough around the edges at this early stage =)
Story wise: objects shaking in someones bedroom wake someone up - together with alarm clock going crazy for some reason. Person makes their way outside to find a ufo passing overhead. Final shot ends on the eye of the awoken person - eye contains the reflection of the ufo.
Any comments are more than welcome - need all the help I can get! =)
Thanks,
funnylittleman.
