Hi, could anyone kindly help how i could render my scene A3 size for print at 300dpi? how does this resizing work

A3 = 29.7cm x 42cm @ 300dpi = 3508x4961 pixels.

Just swap the pixel dimensions around depending on your final artwork format.

Don't worry about what dpi it is in Cinema 72 or 300 makes no difference - the total amount of pixels is the important factor, as the print res can be adjusted in Photoshop etc. after rendering.

300 dpi is for high quality offset printing. If you were printing digitally such as a laser or inkjet you could probably get away with working out from 150-200dpi which would cut your render times by a fair bit.
