Is it possible to use more then one Grey Scale Map in one Layer on an Eco,
or do you just add more Layers, and then just keep adding in more Grey Scale Maps?
Here's the scoop, what I would like to do, is to havemy main Image Map to
controlwhere the basica placement is for the eco that I want to use.
Now!, I want to add another thing, maybe that's a filter or something, I can't think
of what it might be called in the Function Editor at the moment, but I want to add
something like a Spotted Noise Filter to the Image Map to combine them so that
the Noise will add a little bit more randomness to the placement of the Eco,
but of course, still keep the overall Eco in it's Image map boundries.
Make sense?
I'm certain that there must be a way to do this,
but I'm just not quite sure how I connect them or whatever?
How would I do this in the Function Editor, in otherwords?
Oh!, almost forgot!
I also wanted to know if anyone knew of a way to let Eco's work like you can do with
a Material, say snow on the side of a mountain, where you can control if one side of
the mountain has more snow then the other, due to the sun shining more on one
side then the other and the other side is more in the shade all the time,
and thus has more snow on it?
Like that tutorial about how to do that :)
Thanx tons!
................................md :)
P.S I'm doing some test renders on the next Phase, which is, the overall-base-rocks.
looks pretty good, and I haven't done nearly as much work on it as I did for my
last desert scene, as far as eco rock placements and density and size falloff.
This will all sure turn out to be a pretty good tutorial, when I finally
get finished, since it's all nice and neat in "steps" as I go.
Easy to recreate later in a tut, in otherwords :)
