View Full Version : Maya 7.0: render layers with different render globals

hello,

I have two layers both whish are rendered with the maya renderer...but I want to have one renderlayer with shadows on and paintfx on and the second renderlayer with shadows of and paintfx of

BUT that doesn't work, plllllease tell me I can do that and how to do it...!
I can have two layers rendererd with different renderers like mental ray or maya..so I'm sure there must be a way to render twa maya layers with different render globals, otherwise I think the whole Render Layer stuff is BS...sorry :-)

I allready tried "Create Layer Override" but that doesn't do anything

I really hope someone can helt me with that
