Ok. This is just the basic environment for the scene. A brigde. Need to add some cars and accessories. Next, I'll make a hole on the street in the foreground like an impact or like something that wants to go out. I don't know yet. I just want to show heavy strucural damage made by "something"...
Ideas et critics are welcome.

A little bit more details on this scene, but still nothing impressive or spectacular !! I'm working on the thing that has made this hole. It's far from the final image. Almost half of the work has been done.

A wired version of the previous post that shows the modeling is really basic for now.
Good luck to everyone in this challenge !!

This is maybe what will make the damage on the composition. I think I plan to crash this kind of plane into the road. That's the model I'm working on actually.

The modeling of the plane is almost finished. In order to make a realistic crash, I still need to apply heavy damage textures and deformations.

Awesome environmet! I think the lighting and texturing are fantastic, and the helicopter model is cool also. Great blur effect on the propellors, I'm going to have to figure that one out for my image (I assume you used a radial blur in photoshop?). Anyway, everything looks great so far. Alexi

Thank you alexi ! In fact, I use Final Render for the blur, just for fun. The blade won't turn anymore once the plane will crash into the bridge. Maybe I'll still use blur effects in order to render movements.
The next two weeks will be very busy, the project will be nearly stopped. I wish I had more time....
Have a good time finishing your project. Good luck !

Hi, It's good to meet you. I entered late to this contest but I thought I'd throw in my two cents. This model is fantastic! It seems so real and your lighting is superb!
I have a model finally up myself. Any comments you care to make would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you !!
Bad things don't come alone : my motherboard has crashed after the memory cards. I received the new one today so I can continue my project. Unfortunetely the challenge is finished, but I would love to see this project finished !!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I know how bad things can come in waves.
I'm glad though that it hasn't discouraged you from continuing. I look forward to your updates.

Wow that looks amazing! Bummer about the motherboard, it looks like it would've been a great entry.
I was actually able to meet one of the main guys behind the development of the V-22 this semester. It's a pretty cool and interesting aircraft.
