sorry if it's a dumb question..not sure if that's possible or a good idea..

but how can i pipe script editor outputs (e.g print strings, error and such) into a variable?
say i have a script to run and i want to store the errors and printed meesages to a variable to pass on to a new procedure which will decide what to do depending on these messages.
