POST HERE THE TITLES OF THE FILMS YOU WANT TO SEE.

Every Monday a classic movie would be picked from ma list and you would have a week
to watch it on video.

A thread will be posted on the Cinematography, Editing and Directing (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=157) were we would discuss the film and what made it work.

Rules:

The Film that is at least 10 years old.
It CANNOT be PORN OR HENTAI
It has to be available on Home Video all over the world.
You have to post the film title, the cathegory

The movies have to be listed in one of these categories:
Action & Adventure
Animation
Comedy
Drama
Horror
Musicals
Romance
Sci-Fi & Fantasy
Sports
Thrillers
During the week a vote would be made to pick the next cathegory of film on the NEXT FILM thread.

On Monday Ill post 5 movies on that cathegory and people, on the thread, will pick ONE.(Depending on the complexity of implmenting this I might take out this rule)

For example:

A thread will be posted called....
THE NEXT MOVIE ()...Pick the Cathegory

The vote results that people want to watch a Thriller...

The Moderator picks from the Master list:
THE FRENCH CONNECTION....
And a thread would be opened called:

THE FILM CLUB #001: THRILLER: The French Connection

IF and only IF, i get enough interest, I might request it.
Still I am very happy with the amount of people who are participating.

Dudes, a little birdy told me today that French Connection is going for £12.99 in WH SMITHS as a box set including the original novel!

The DVD itself comes with TWO(!) audio commentaries! Brillant for our diabolical disection of this movie...

Addition to my list, but only if everybody in the world can get it (not sure, if yes, get the subtitled one, the dubbed is AWFUL).

My favorite and one of the few non-controversial flicks of Paul Verhoeven (unless you're Dutch, but we can handle that).

Soldaat van Oranje (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076734/)

category: war (can war and western categories be added, please?)

on par with Paths of Glory and the like

You need iTunes, but you can see a trailer here (http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/).
