I used vray for the render, with some area lights and a spherical camera. What do you think?

Awesome! Lighting/textures/scene... awesome!

The camera angle is a great twist as well.

off hand I'd say it was a jail cell for little teapots, with a big teapot jailer just outside the door... it's kinda surreal in that sense.

Great image!

:argh: fish eye lense!!

great textures. but maybe the specular of the wood can tune down a little. other things are great. 10/10

The sky looks a little flat tho. most people has the same problem too. same to me, if i have to do a scene that i need to put a sky in. i just don't know how to do.

anyone has suggestions?

Very nice render - textures / lighting / composition, I like it a lot.
In the 2nd angle you can see that the rocks in the water area look really flat - maybe use actual 3d rocks? (but maybe will be too long to render), can probably also add some variation to the water itself.

Wow.

If I had not seen this myself I would never have thought it possible to render a quality scene with the INFAMOUS TEA POT.

well done.

I agree, this is a beautiful render!! The lighting is fantastic.

I also use v-ray and would be courious as to your settings to achieve such realism.

Hey tio, hay que reconocer que el modelo es simplista, pero has conseguido una iluminacion muy realista y una muy buena aplicacion de mapas, esta genial, la proxima vez si te pones hacer un decorado realista parecera una foto macho :applause: :applause:  .

Venga tio suerte y a rendear ;).

Wow... Teapots rendered so beautifully!

Two great things about this. It's rendered brilliantly, and it's about tea.

This is now my wallpaper. :D
