I did search these questions up, but i kept getting distracted by other topics, learning alot except what i set out to learn in the first place.
Anyways like alot begginer's ive modeled a handgun that im planning to use in hl2, using the free version of XSI. For UV mapping, how large do u need to make the map for hl2? And my gun is seperate objects, are they supposed to be one object so they can share the same map? Or is there some way of making them share the same map using the render tree or someway similar.
And is there a way to import the hands of hl2 so i can animate them with my gun? Or do i have to use custom hands.
