We will try to post one of these topics once a day for your enjoyment.

These are the rules:
* Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
* RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
* They can be done on any medium.
* If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
* Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
* The topics will be posted every day between 10:00 - 12:00 am US EST.
* The artist also has to post total length of time it took (Thanks Clanger for the idea) and program used.
* Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
* Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
* The topics will be picked at random from the list on this thread
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
*You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them). NEW RULE!
* Ill post ANOTHER thread to quantify and track WHO has participated the most on these threads.

I've heard that some mothers tell their children with visible birthmarks that when God made them, the angels found the child to be so beautiful that they couldn't resist giving them just one kiss before they went to earth, and that kiss forever marked them as one of God's special people.
...*Ahem* about 2 hours in photoshop, 'cuz I kept messing up the Angel's face. :D

This one is just too cute to resist. 20 mins paper and charcoal. Will do a different one to color once I close the office. Elmo always gets the first kiss.

changed my idea around about 5times as I was going lol, never done a quick sketch before, so its not very good!!! tried to do it as fast as I could, since im generally a slow painter... rushing things make mine look terrible! but I might make a habbit of doing a daily sketch everyday, good practice.

'bout 45 minutes on PS with tablet.
a little cheesy, but if i spent more time at it, it might end up good enough to get away with it. anyway, here it is. there is a plunger in there, but you can't see it from this angle. it's not as good as daw's though.

ok here's mine.originally a piece i did while ago but unfinished,i used the lineart of the piece and repaint, its rather rough since its only a sketch.1 and a half hours photoshop

Here is mine about a tradition of the south of France and north of Spain named "Saint-Jordi". Girl offer book to boy and boy roses to women. Fun tradition with a lot of "first kiss" from young poeple.

thanks rblitz7,yeah,it's still in progress,i'd try to fit in some time and finished it off after the spectacular challenge.:)
Cyanid - thanks mate,i made this piece as a sequal for the nymph of the blue,very much inspired by jason's piece
