View Full Version : R8 DEMO: String resource not found!
Peoples 11-18-2002, 10:30 AM I mentioned this in some other thread here as well but: I have tried to solve the problem I´m having with the R8 Demo. When trying to open the app - I get an error message from cinema "Internal error: String resource not found!" and the app quits. Does anyone have a clue what could be the problem? I'm running G4/400 with OSX 10.1.5. Some guy seemed to have the same problem over at Postforum and got some help related to moving the cinemas preferences from the library... Could the demo mix something from R7 or what...? I can't wait to get my hands on R8 but at the moment I'm a BIT frusterated....

This is common when you unzip the demo with an older version of Winzip or Stuffit. Just grab the newest versions and everything should work.

Hi,
make sure that the folder structure is unzipped correctly. It seems that all files have been expanded in one directory instead of the correct subdirectories.
